How To Make Meat Pies

Meat and pototo pie filling in tin ?

I have cooking lessons on friday and i dont have any ingredients for a pie and dont have a recipe but we’re focusing on the pastry anyway and i was wondering is there any shops in uk like asda that sell meat and potato pie fillings or similar in a tin ?

I would use a tinned stewed steak which can be found in any supermarket. Cut up a large potato and boil until softened. Mix it with the stewed steak and add to your pie. I have done this on several occasions and it works really well. Dont forget to season with salt and a little pepper
