Pi and CHiPS Closes Its Doors

Well everybody, there comes in a time in every podcasts networks life where it much let go of what it loves most, and move on to what it loves more than that. Pi and CHiPS has had an awesome run on the internet. Since the summer of 2006 we’ve had our net presence and have been bringing you extremely entertaining content. Even when we were just 3 geeks with a dream and a whole lot to talk about.

We would just like to take this opportunity to thank everybody who has ever worked with us, supported us, or contributed to any of the shows we have produced in the past. None of us make any money doing this and the support we get from fans and each other is so inspiring to keep doing our best. Thanks to all the hosts, guests,and friends that have joined us and helped make our little network awesome!

We do have some good news! Even though Pi and CHiPS is closing its doors on the podcasting side of things, Chris and Adam have taken it into the game development field! They are hard at work on producing some of the best hits in gaming you’ve seen in years. With a drive to make games for casual gamers and groups of friends, these guys have a whole lot going for them. Keep an eye on their progress at http://www.piandchipsgames.com. They will be updating the site soon and will provide you with updates on all of their projects.

Also, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades has moved on to bigger things and have launched their brand spankin’ new website today! Every 10 episodes we do a live show so we can have input from our fans and let you guys join us in laughing at the rest of the world. After doing 4 of these we have finally streamlined our process into something that works, and makes it easiest for you guys. Here are the details:

The show starts at 8pm EST, and will be streamed on Horseshoes-Handgrenades.com.

To Be Named Later is out with the old, and in with the new in this week’s episode. “Full Court Press” and “Final Four” are introduced as new segments, while we say goodbye to 8 in the Box and Drawing Dead (for now?). The Super Bowl might have ended but the NFL is still a prime topic on the show. Will that ever change? We doubt it! NBA trades and college football recruitment also make the cut. Oh yeah, and Brian is back.

I went out tonight thinking I was going to get some yummy German food… only to find out that it had been replaced! Then I drove downtown and parked, ready for my second choice… but it was overran by small children and country music! So I walked to a Japanese place and got Kistune Udon! It was so good. So good. But the cheesecake… not so much >_<

Either way, the show tonight is wonderful, as always! We give you the secret of the Highlander, reasons why you shouldn’t swallow keys, and… is anyone out there missing their scalp?

So, we were a tad late with posting this because I went out to eat and to see a horrible movie… I’m never let a group of five girls pick the movie ever again! I’m also going skiing tomorrow, which means a 6am wake up call. Yay! Hopefully, you guys are listening to this when you aren’t tired, and I haven’t broken my leg. It’s a Super Bowl Special! Will invites Adam back (for some reason) and he and Adam (Brian’s gone again?) dive into the phenomenon that is Super Bowl XLII. Adam gives his thoughts on why he wants the Giants to win, but ends up thinking the Patriots will win.
